Before you send us your files, here are a few steps you will need to take to make sure things go smoothly. We accept Mac and Windows files. Yes, Windows files. Check the chart below to see the software formats that our pre-press pros utilize in our workflow:


Here are a few tips you should consider:

  • Include all fonts and support images used in your layout files.

  • All bitmapped and/or vector image files should be in CMYK colour space.

  • Make sure photographic images are of sufficient resolution. Image resolution should be equal to twice the linescreen that the job will print at. (for example: 150lpi x 2=300ppi scan resolution)

  • Let us do the trapping on your files. It will make things easier for you and we can ensure that the the colour breaks are optimized for our press configurations.

  • If you are sending your files to us via the Internet (FTP or web upload tool), please make sure that you compress your files. Compression will make the file transfer faster and protect your files from corruption during transfer. If you are sending your files from a Mac, use Stuffit (SIT format). If you are sending your files from a PC, send us a ZIP file (ZIP format).
